Here is the schedule for CCA on 12th April, Tuesday. Do take note that CCA is for ALL Guides on Tuesday.

Attire:
Sec 1s: PE shirt, NYGH shorts
Sec 2s & 4s: Half Uniform (PE shirt + Guides skirt + Belt & Whistle + Hat + WHITE Socks + Boots 
+ Bun & net/hairnet + Specs hooks)
Sec 3s: FULL GUIDES UNIFORM (refer to below for reminders on how to wear your uniform)
Batch Bonding ICs: Guides Shirt, NYGH shorts

Things to take note:
*Hair should be in LOW buns; if you have short hair, you are expected to come with your hairnet
*Socks should NOT have NYGH logo and should be 3 fingers above your ankle
*Boots should be POLISHED
*No accessories (eg watches, earrings etc.) should be worn

Things to note
(a) Guide Uniform
1. Neat and ironed.

2. Blouse must be tucked in at all times, such that the belt buckle is visible.

3. Guide skirt must be knee-length. No longer. No shorter.
à Tip: Kneel down wearing your skirt. The hem of the skirt should touch the ground nicely, this is the right length!

4. Skirt pockets should be empty, so that it will not hinder movement.

5. All badges must be sewn and pinned on at the right places on the uniform. 
à REMEMBER the World BadgeTrefoil, Bronze/Silver/Gold badge, Thinking Day patch. 

6. The scarf must be secured under metal studs sewn to the uniform collar. It should also be tied neatly; the reef knot should form a neat square, and the ends of the scarf should be of equal length
à Tip: Iron the folds of your scarf before CCA. You can also tie your scarf and pin on the trefoil beforehand; this saves a lot of time when you put on your uniform!  
(b) Hat
1. Ironed and not crumpled.
à Tip: Starch your hat if possible!

2. To be folded and tucked under left epaulette when not worn.

3. Ensure that the hat badge is centralised, and that the elastic band is not visible.
(c) Accessories
1. No jewellery allowed. This includes ear studs and necklaces. Watches must also be taken off before the footdrill session.

2. Long hair (touching the state crest of the scarf) must be in a low bun and short hair should be in a hairnet. 

3. Hair accessories must be black in colour.

(d) White socks and polished boots

1. Socks are strictly to be all white, boots are to be polished.

2. No ankle socks allowed. White socks must be 3 fingers above the ankle bone. 
à Do not try to cheat and turn your NY socks inside out.

List of reminders:

1. *Everyone should report by 4.00pm!! Roll Call will be conducted as a Company.

2. Please be punctual. If you really cannot make in on time because of a valid reason, notify the PLs beforehand and PLs do take note of your patrol’s attendance :)) 

3. Please be in the right attire as stated above! Wrong attire will result in PT for your batch!

4. Sec 2-4s please revise your footdrill commands before the session!

5. To the Sec 3s, all the best for your FC selections round 1!🤩 Don’t stress, stay calm and just do your best! We’ll be very proud of you regardless.🥰

6. Do remember to work on your GuidingLIGHT assignments regularly. Thanks!!
