  • Guides are reminded to take testworks seriously and study for respective testworks so that the session will be meaningful and not a waste of time for both the testers and the guides taking the test

Invitation to Perform at World Thinking Day 2017

Hi Guides!

World Thinking Day 2017 will be a very meaningful celebration as it is the 100th Anniversary of Girl Guiding! We have been invited to be a part of the Centennial Celebration Performance at Botanic Gardens to honour our past and celebrate our centennial. The performers will be trained by professional trainers and training sessions would be mainly at Guide House or Scape. If anyone is interested in taking part, please sign up with Mrs Ng by 21 October, Friday, and indicate which item you want to participate in. Below are the details of the performance items and training dates. Thank you!

It is our 100th anniversary next year.  We are sure you are as excited as we are in celebrating our 100 years of Girl Guiding here in Singapore!
To celebrate, Girl Guides Singapore has organised an array of events, activities and opportunities you and your girls can be involved in.
World Thinking Day Celebration 2017 is the first in the line-up of events and activities next year. 

We are inviting Brownies, Guides, Young Adults, Guiders and Trefoil members to be a part of our Centennial Celebration performance at the Botanic Gardens as we honour our past and celebrate our Centennial. The performers will be trained by professional instructors and trainings will be conducted at Guide House and Scape.  GGS will not be charging the units for participation.

Camp Training Course Registration

Hello Guides!

There will be a Camp Training Course from 1st to 4th November, and it is open to all Sec 3 and Sec 2 Guides who will not be attending the First Aid Course on 31st October to 2nd November. It will be an overnight camp at Camp Christine, the specific details have been sent to all of your emails.
The school will pay the participation fee of $120 for all the Guides attending, unless you withdraw from the camp after confirmation. Guides are highly encouraged to take part in the camp if you are free during those 4 days of holiday. If you are interested, fill up the Health and Registration forms that we have sent to your emails, and submit them to Mrs Ng in softcopy by 15th October, Saturday. Thank you!
