Attire:
Sec 1s: PE shirt + school skirt
Sec 2s: Half Guides uniform (PE shirt + Guides skirt + hat, with braids and white shoes)
Sec 3s: Full Guides uniform (hat with braids and white shoes)
Sec 4s: Guides shirt + school skirt

Things to take note:
*Hair should be in two braids
*Socks should NOT have NYGH logo and should be 3 fingers above your ankle
*No accessories (eg watches, earrings etc.) should be worn

Things to note
(a) Guide Uniform
1. Neat and ironed.

2. Blouse must be tucked in at all times, such that the belt buckle is visible.

3. Guide skirt must be knee-length. No longer. No shorter.
à Tip: Kneel down wearing your skirt. The hem of the skirt should touch the ground nicely, this is the right length!

4. Skirt pockets should be empty, so that it will not hinder movement.

5. All badges must be sewn and pinned on at the right places on the uniform. 
à REMEMBER the World BadgeTrefoil, Bronze/Silver/Gold badge, Thinking Day patch. 

6. The scarf must be secured under metal studs sewn to the uniform collar. It should also be tied neatly; the reef knot should form a neat square, and the ends of the scarf should be of equal length
à Tip: Iron the folds of your scarf before CCA. You can also tie your scarf and pin on the trefoil beforehand; this saves a lot of time when you put on your uniform!  
(b) Hat
1. Ironed and not crumpled.
à Tip: Starch your hat if possible!

2. To be folded and tucked under left epaulette when not worn.

3. Ensure that the hat badge is centralised, and that the elastic band is not visible.
(c) Accessories
1. No jewellery allowed. This includes ear studs and necklaces. Watches must also be taken off before the session.

2. Long hair (touching the state crest of the scarf) must be in a low bun and short hair should be in a hairnet. 

3. Hair accessories must be black in colour.

(d) White socks and polished boots

1. Socks are strictly to be all white, white shoes.

2. No ankle socks allowed. White socks must be 3 fingers above the ankle bone. 
à Do not try to cheat and turn your NY socks inside out.

1. *Everyone should be SEATED in LT2 by 4.00pm!! There will be NO roll call.

2. Refer to the email titled “NYGG Elections 2022”, sent on 14 April for more details, including the seating plan.

3. Please be punctual. If you really cannot make in on time because of a valid reason, notify the PLs beforehand and PLs do take note of your patrol’s attendance :)) 

4. Each Guide should bring the following LOGISTICS:

- water bottle
