Things to note:

- Please familiarise yourself with where you are supposed to stand, as well as the people around you. 

- Just to reiterate: 

1. For contingent commanders: 

-Impede at the 3rd flower, to the middle of the 2 green lines. 

-Stop near the bushes and start hentak-Ing there 

-first part where NYGG and NPCC March in, Zhi Yan will give the "Up" and the timing for the contingent commanders to march to the position. (There will be left left left right left timing also!) and when she give the next "Up" it is for berhenti. 

The last "Up" is to face the front, so you kekenan or kekiri depending on the direction you are facing. 

-Before marching off, Kaiqin will be the one giving the "Up" instead and it is similar to the marching in procedure for contingent commanders. 

2. Timing differences: 

Taking dressing: one check one 

One: raise arm 

Check: raise leg 

One: bang 

Turning drills: 

One: turn 

Check: raise leg 

One: bang 

For the marching wise, just follow the music rhythm. 

To berhenti when marching in, we will follow the "Pom Pom" thing to face the front (for GG and NPCC).

1. Familiarise yourselves with the parade procedure beforehand and polish your boots.

2. Do have adequate rest the night before to prepare yourself for the footdrill session.

PARADE PROCEDURE FOR NDP 2015

Hello Guides, below is the parade procedure. Guides involved in ndp please familiarise yourself with the procedure.

SG 50 formation: NYGG: S NYSJ: G 5 NPCC: 0 In lieu of Singapore’s 50th birthday celebration, we will be adding in a new element to the parade which is the SG 50 formation. There will be music played (the drums) and then everyone will be moving in an orderly manner into their allocated position that will be marked out on the floor with tape. The movement will be tried out during the combined UG sessions. Rough idea: Within each squad, some members in the squad will turn to the left or turn to the right and start to march to their designated position which will be marked out for them, when the music plays. SEKOLAH SENANG DIRI: - contingents senang diri, including the school National Day Message (with the contingents standing in the formation) After the national day message, the members of the squad will move back to its original place according to the music.
March Past	CONTINGENT-CONTINGENT SEDIA	- all contingents sedia - colour party to march back up to the podium at their own timing
	MUSIC PLAYS (the drums)	-Contingent will move back into the original contingent formation. (The order or how the movement will be done will be tried out during the UG combined sessions.)

	PANJI-PANJI RUSUK SENJA TA	- flag party goes into rusuk position
	CONTINGENT-CONTINGENT BERGERAK KEKANAN BERTIGA-TIGA KEKANAN DAN KEKIRI PUSING	- all contingents turn to their right - contingent commanders march to the front and back of their squad, facing the same direction as them
	PANJI PANJI DARI KIRI CEPAT JALAN	- flag party to give their own timing as they march to meet each other and form a line, hentak, then they bang, march a bit more, then turn left and continue marching where they stop in front the contingents - flag party to give their own timing to turn to face same direction as the contingents
	CONTINGENT-CONTINGENT DARI KIRI CEPAT JALAN	- NYGG marches off first, NYSJ (GOH) to follow behind and NPCC to follow after - flag party to lead march off but will impede towards the leftmost pillar, while the contingents are to march into the shelter -flag raisers are to march off stage at the same time as contingents and hentak with the flag party at the pillar
