Gardens by the Bay Ambassador's Badge Programme

Below is the information about the Gardens by the Bay Ambassador's Badge Programme.
The GGS GB Ambassador’s badge has been in the running for almost 4 years and so far about 320 Guides have been become ambassadors of the award winning garden. Guides who have completed the programme acquired valuable knowledge on the sustainability efforts of the garden and discover the vast variety of plants found in the garden. In addition, Guides conducted garden trails and facilitated the multiple interesting educational programmes amidst the beautiful flowers. This is a great learning opportunity for Guides to acquire social skills to engage the community to play an active role in Singapore’s natural heritage.
Registration for the GB badge programme for 2017 is now open for registration. The details are as follows:
Orientation Training:
Date of Orientation Training: 24 Feb 2017, Friday
Time: 3.00pm to 6.00pm
Venue: Cannonball Room, near Super tree Grove area, GB
Attire: School/Half-Guide uniform with sports shoes
Things to bring: Writing materials and water bottle
Maximum participants for this batch: 50 Guides
Training Programme:
3.00 pm to 4.00 pm Overview of Gardens
4.00 pm to 5.00 pm Gardens Walkthrough
5.00 pm to 5.30 pm GB Ambassador Programme
5.30 pm to 6.00 pm Q & A
Facilitation:
Facilitation dates: Weekends of Mar & Apr & May 2017 (Guides to indicate in the registration form attached)
If you are interested, please notify us by 15 January and we will forward you the registration form as well as the detailed requirements to earn the badge. All guides free on the above dates are encouraged to take part!
