General Reminders

Hi guides,

Here are some reminders regarding the World Thinking Day celebration on the 22th February 2014:

1. Everyone has to hand up the consent form, even those who are attending the band performance on the same day. For those who are unable to make it for other reasons, do attach a parent letter to the consent form and hand it in as well.

2. Try to hand it in by Wednesday, 11 February 2014  however the final dateline is by this Thursday. Do look for your PLs before assembly/during recess/after school to submit your consent forms. Alternatively, you can pass your consent forms directly to the CLs (Ethel at 406; Hui Yi at 401)

3. For the benefit of the few that did not receive consent forms, here are the details of the activity:

Activity: World Thinking Day 2014
Organizing Dept: Girl Guides Singapore
Venue: New Town Secondary School
Date: 22 Feb 2014, Saturday
Assembly and dismissal point: New Town Secondary School
Teacher accompanying: Mrs Ng Lay Hong, Math Dept, 65067238
Nearest MRT Station: Dover
Prescribed Attire: Full guides uniform (Note: hair to be tied in two plaits!)

So for those that do not have the consent form, you just have to get your parent/guardian to write and sign a letter that states that they give their permission for you to attend this event.

Secondly, we will be posting the whole parade procedure on the blog sometime this week (before Friday) as well as the finalized squad formation, and we need all of you to read up and familiarize yourselves with the procedure beforehand. This is very important because we really only have a limited amount of footdrill practice sessions left, and we really want to make the most of it.

Also, we FCs would like to thank all of you for putting in so much effort in the recent footdrill sessions. Thank you all for your hard work, and we are super proud of all the progress that you have made! Keep up with the good work, don't forget to keep practicing and revising! Once again thank you so much and jiayous for school work and your other commitments. :)

Love,
CLs & ACLs '14 + FCs '14
