Details for 6th Uniformed Groups Bowling Challenge 2010
Dear Guides,
Here is the necessary information regarding the bowling competition organised by the Hwa Chong NPCC Unit that we mentioned during debrief on Friday:
Preliminary Round: 11 June 2010 (Friday)
Finals: 25 June 2010 (Friday)
Venue: Orchid Country Club Bowling Alley
Entry Fee: S$25.00 per team of 3 bowlers and 1 reserve (compulsory)
The aims and objectives of this activity are to establish good rapport among the cadets from the different Uniformed Groups by giving them an opportunity to interact with one another and to promote a healthy lifestyle for the students. At the same time, the Championships will serve as a prelude to the Singapore Youth Olympic Games. The top 10 teams and individuals will advance to the next round.
Each Uniformed Group Unit is invited to send in one or more teams. Anyone from Secondary 1 to 5 is eligible to participate. The deadline for submission of the entry form is 14 May 2010.

Interested guides are to inform their PLs by 12th May 2010 or email ammplified@gmail.com with their team members' names. This is so that there will be adequate time for guides to fill in the application form and for us to submit it to the organisers. Additional information will be provided for guides who express their interest.
We strongly encourage you to participate in this activity as not only will it be a fun and enriching experience, you will also get to learn from other UGs in Singapore and to showcase your 'lesser-known' talents (: However, please note that this does not overwrite any badge courses (ie First Aid course etc) that may be happening on the same day.
